Reaper's Waltz

After wishing for a new life and being promptly humbled by an errant jet turbine our protagonist awakes in a strange world, but this might not be the magical power fantasy he was hoping for. Enclosed by dank claustrophobic walls he finds himself  at the whims of a capricious god, but what does it want and how can he escape? How long must he dance the Reapers Waltz?

NOTES 

While we missed the deadline for the jam submission by literally one minute, we did our best and managed to adjust our goals and expectations to meet unforeseen circumstances, making something out of nothing.

Special thanks to Wake1st, who volunteered to pick up the reins when our original dev had to drop from the jam with four days left from the deadline and remaking the entire game from ground zero! Additional thanks to all team members following the drop-out for flexibility, adaptability, communication, team decision making on scaling back project scope, and all the non-stop work that went into reworking everything for a different build.
